Developmental Editing
I will analyze your writing as a whole for big picture issues, including pacing, progression, description of characters and setting, and point of view. This includes an initial read-through to get an overall feel for your project and a second review during which I will provide in-line feedback and suggestions.

Line Editing
If you feel as though your draft is structurally ready to go, you may be in need of a line edit. I will examine your language and style to point out problems with clarity, dialogue, phrasing, unnecessary repetition, telling versus showing, passive versus active voice, and inconsistencies. I will provide thorough editorial feedback while allowing you to maintain your personal writing style and voice. I love helping writers find the best way to say what they’re trying to say.
Fee: $0.018 per word
Copy Editing
Once the structure and language of your manuscript has been fine-tuned, I will give it the final polish it needs to ensure that it adheres to Chicago Manual of Style rules of grammar, punctuation, and capitalization and your word choice and spelling are accurate and consistent.
Fee: $0.015 per word
Proofreading
I have a keen eye for typos others might overlook. I will make sure your text is free of errors, your manuscript is properly formatted, and your project is ready for the next step of publishing!
Fee: $0.013 per word
